Coedcae - A HUGE THANKS!

The brain behind the event, Brett John (centre)
I would like to thank the pupils and staff at Coedcae School. On Friday 17th of October I attended a political debate at  Coedcae School in Llanelli. The event was organised by year 11 pupil, Brett John.

Brett actually chaired the debate himself and did a fantastic job of keeping us all in order!

Everyone involved in the event at Coedcae should be very proud of themselves and once again I would like to say a huge DIOLCH to everyone who helped make the day a success.

  1. More young people involved in politics is what is needed,
I know it is cliche but young people are the future,
No matter what your families traditional views are it is so important that people make there own choices and holding debates like this is an exelent way for people to achieve these choices.
Far too much secrecy in both Local and National Politics,a more open and transparent system is needed.
    Well done Coedcae School.

    1. Spot on Kevin! You've hit the nail on the head. The pupils were really engaged and we need more of these events.

If the indyref in Scotland has taught us anything, it is that young people have a voice and it should be respected - as you said - WELL DONE COEDCAE SCHOOL.
