Let there be Light - Bydded Goleuni

Noswaith dda i chi gyd! Evening one and all!

It's been an eventful few weeks. One day has seemingly blended into the previous one. Since my last blog we've had some sad news including bereavements in the ward and I as well as fellow Town Councillor would like to pass on our sincere condolences to all those affected.

The London Road Litter Pickers (LRLP) have been in action most Sunday's and Councillor Thomas and I are in regular contact with the County Council regarding abandoned rubbish in the lanes, especially (but not solely) around Gilbert Street. I'd like to thank all the volunteers who've given up an hour on Sunday's to help. Feel free to join us this Sunday too (9th of July)!

An important issue which Mike Lawler brought to our attention was the lighting issue on London Road itself, well Mike - what a saga, seemed never ending! We've finally got somewhere (shed some light on the issue!) with work to resolve the issue scheduled to start on 10th of July! I'll keep a close eye on it! I'd like to kindly thank the staff of Rhun ap Iorwerth AM for Ynys Mon for their assistance regarding this issue.

It's been a busy time with residents of London Road Ward contacting Keith and I regularly. We're more than happy to assist at all times.

Yesterday I was informed about an issue around Ysgol Morswyn/Llain Bryniau regarding parking and the picking up of children. We shall look into this and see what practical help we can provide to residents.

We also attended the Town Council meeting on Monday 3rd of July which was well attended by members of the public too. As I often say, the Town Council belongs to the PEOPLE of Holyhead and NEVER the other way around, we as councillors are servants of the people.

Best wishes one and all, and lets hope for a restful summer ahead - and some SUNSHINE!

Haf hapus i bawb yn y ward - mwynhewch y gwyliau a gobeithio yr HEULWEN hefyd!
